Privacy Policy for Daisy Smart Target System Google Play Store

Daisy STS (“we,” “us,” or “our”) is a mobile application owned and operated by Daisy Outdoor Products and Blaster Digital LLC. Your privacy is important to us, and we are committed to protecting your personal information.

This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and disclose your information when you use our app, in compliance with Google Play requirements and applicable data protection laws.

1.Information We Collect

We collect the following types of data when you use Daisy STS:

a) Data Linked to You (via Google Play Privacy disclosure)

User Content: Information you provide directly through forms, feedback, or uploads.
Identifiers: Email address, username, or user ID.
Usage Data: App interactions, feature usage, and diagnostics.

b) Data Not Linked to You

Crash Data and Performance Metrics: Used to improve app stability.
Device Data: Device model, OS version, and other technical info.

c) Optional Data

Location Data: Only with user permission, and only when necessary for features like mapping or regional customization.

We do not collect sensitive personal information such as payment details, biometric data, or health data.

We do not track users across apps and websites owned by other companies.

Right to Limit Use of Sensitive Personal Information – If we collect sensitive personal information (e.g., precise geolocation, racial or ethnic origin, religious beliefs), you may direct us to limit its use and disclosure. Daisy does not collect or use sensitive personal information for purposes requiring limitation.
Right to Non-Discrimination – We will not discriminate against you for exercising your CCPA/CPRA rights. This means, for example, that we will not deny you goods or services, charge you different prices or rates, or provide you with a different level or quality of service.

We will verify your request using the information associated with your account, including your email address. Government-issued identification may be required. If an authorized agent is making the request on your behalf, we may also require written authorization and proof of identity.

We will respond to verified requests within 45 days, unless an extension is required, in which case we will notify you.

4.2 Canada Residents

If you are located in Canada, you have rights under applicable privacy legislation, including the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and, if you reside in Quebec, the Act Respecting the Protection of Personal Information in the Private Sector (as amended by Law 25). These rights include:

The right to access and obtain a copy of your personal information;
The right to request correction of inaccurate, outdated, or incomplete personal information;
The right to withdraw your consent to the use or disclosure of your personal information, subject to legal or contractual restrictions;
The right to request deletion of your personal information, subject to legal retention requirements;
The right to be informed about automated decision-making or profiling, if applicable;
The right to lodge a complaint with the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada or, in Quebec, with the Commission d’accès à l’information.

We store your personal data in the United States and may use third-party service providers located outside of Canada. By using our Services, you consent to the transfer and processing of your personal data outside of Canada, including to jurisdictions that may not offer the same level of protection as your home province.

If you are a resident of Quebec, you have the right to request information about the technologies used to collect personal data and to deactivate certain functionalities that enable profiling, geolocation, or identification. You also have the right to designate a person to manage your personal information in the event of your death.

5. Data Retention

We retain your data only as long as necessary for the purposes described above or as required by law. You can request deletion at any time by contacting us.

6.Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your data. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.

7.Children’s Privacy

The app is not intended for children under 9. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under the age of 13 without verifiable parental consent. If we learn that we have unintentionally collected personal data from a child under 13 without proper consent, we will delete that information as soon as possible. If you are a parent or legal guardian and believe that your child under 13 has submitted personal information, please contact us at info@daisy.com.

In accordance with the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA), we do not sell or share the personal information of user we know are under the age of 16. For users between the ages of 13 and 16, we require affirmative opt-in consent before any sale or sharing of their personal information, should that ever apply. Currently, Daisy does not sell or share personal information for advertising or marketing purposes.

We comply with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and all applicable US state and federal child privacy regulations.

8.Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in the App or applicable regulations. Updates will be posted within the App and the Google Play listing. Please review it periodically.
